‘Respect our sovereignty,’ Red Army Foundation demands

The Red Army Foundation is national veterans’ organisation that brings together the Red Army of the Republic of South Sudan, people who contributed to the country’s liberation struggle.

The Red Army Foundation used the occasion to issue a statement on July 29, the day commemorated as ‘Red Army Day’ in South Sudan.

The Red Army Foundation Chairman, Deng Bol Aruai, said his organisation is against an intervention force. “You are interfering in the affairs of a family,” he said.
