Kordofan bombings: more than 50,000 displaced

According to the UN, over 53,000 Sudanese, mostly ethnic Nuba groups, have fled recent fighting in Southern Kordofan, which lies in northern Sudan.

Men fleeing bombed areas in Kordofan’s Jaw district walked six hours to safety in Unity State.
Many of the displaced have entered Unity State after homes were destroyed during the recent bombardment of Southern Kordofan by Sudan’s air force.
