Germany’s national football team won the FIFA World Cup 2014. To encourage sports in South Sudan and to share the joy of winning the title, the German Embassy distributed footballs and jerseys in two orphanages in Juba on Friday, July 18.

We have come here today to share our joy,” the German Ambassador to South Sudan David Schwake said.

Angelo Keny, Director of one of the orphanages, thanked the German Embassy for their visit. He as well urged the South Sudanese to visit the orphanages takeing care of children from across South Sudan.
