Customers at Bentiu market complain about high food prices.

The Africa Human Development Report released on Tuesday focuses on food security but also looks at infant mortality, school enrolment rates, and poverty levels.

The report also highlights that in the first year of South Sudan’s statehood, cereal deficit in the country has doubled from 200,000 metric tons last year to 470,000 metric tons this year.
