Militia attack in Warrap State
The Sudan People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) says rebels have attacked a camp for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Warrap State, which is adjacent to Abyei.

Displaced civilians who fled from Abyei are under attack again in Turalei.
Most of the IDPs in the camp had fled fighting in Abyei that broke out last month. Nearly a dozen people are reported to have been killed in the assault.
The incident comes just days after leaders from the north and the south agreed to send Ethiopian peacekeeping forces to the region to protect civilians and maintain a buffer zone until a referendum on the future of the enclave.
