Peaceful referendum encourages investors in health sector

Eye related illnesses are common in Southern Sudan. There was virtually no modern eye clinic in this region, but the relative peace in the past years and the peaceful conduct of the referendum has changed this reality.

Eye Savers South Sudan Limited, an Indian company, is the first to establish an optical and contact lenses centre in Juba, Southern Sudan. The Ministry of Health (GoSS) used to send people abroad for eye treatment, but this newly established installation will allow to treat people in Juba. Pascal Ladu reports for SUDANVOTES:
