The people of Southern Sudan are finally deciding whether to secede or to remain a part of a united Sudan. While there is a party atmosphere among the citizens of the South, others are concerned that the referendum may provoke renewed conflict, six years after the official end of civil war between the North and the South as well as some adjacent areas like the Nuba Mountains.
