Zainab Hawa Bangura visited South Sudan and spent a week to acquaint herself with the situation of women in South Sudan.

She went to Bentiu where she met some of the victims of the sexual violence. To her both, government forces and rebels, are involved in abuses against women and girls.

In an interview with Waakhe Simon Wudu in Bentiu, Zainab Hawa Bangura urged the South Sudan Government and the rebels to stop the violence now:
