Nooke: South Sudan needs a diversified economy
Günter Nooke, the German Chancellor’s G8 Personal Representative for Africa, says South Sudan should diversify its economy.

Günter Nooke, the German Chancellor’s G8 Personal Representative for Africa (left), South Sudan’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Barnaba Marial Benjamin and the German Ambassador David Schwake, Tuesday, November 12.
Nooke, who visited Juba last week, said he is impressed with the development that has taken place in South Sudan since the country declared independence.
However, Nooke added that the Republic of South Sudan must diversify its economy in order to build a prosperous and viable state.
