The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) supports several aid and development projects in South Sudan, but not all of them are welcome.

The USAID funded Food, Agribusiness and Rural Market (FARM) project has difficulties implementing some of its activities on county level, as the government banned the use of controversial imported fertilisers.
