‘There is a lack of credit given to women’

Most South Sudanese women say more than two years after statehood, and scores of NGOs working with South Sudanese ministries to improve the country’s economy and basic infrastructure, their day-to-day lives have not changed.

On Wednesday, August 21, dozens of women attended a United Nations sponsored forum to talk about the few changes that have occurred, and what still needs to be done.
