The United States, the European Union, the African Union, Canada, the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), Norway, Switzerland and the United Kingdom have all expressed concern over the developments in South Sudan, warning against potential instability in the country.

As Charlton Doki reports from Juba both Foreign Affairs Ministry officials and the South Sudan National Police Service assure that the government reshuffle was well received and that there will be no unrest in the country:
