Tabanya: Rebuilding lives and homes
The ongoing violent conflict in Sudan’s Nuba Mountains takes its toll on human life and infrastructure. But some people start to rebuild their homes, despite the ongoing violence.

Located in the Nuba Mountains, close to the border with South Sudan, Tabanya witnessed one of the first battles between the Sudan People’s Liberation Army-North (SPLA-N) and the Sudan Armed Forces (SAF) in mid 2011.
