Payinjiar residents request seeds to fight hunger
Residents in Unity State’s Payinjiar County are urging both the government and NGO’s to provide sorghum, maize, beans and vegetables seeds, allowing them to fight prevailing starvation in the county.

Payinjiar was the food basket of the state until heavy flooding in June last year washed away crops before they could fully mature. This resulted in poor harvests and starvation across the county. Bonifacio Taban reports for The Niles from Bentiu:
