SPLA and civilians clash in Terekeka County

At least eight people were killed and several injured when Mundari youths clashed with soldiers around Terekeka on Sunday, July 12.

According to sources on the ground two young men were killed by soldiers of South Sudan’s national army on Saturday, July 11. The following day some youth attacked the local army barracks, seeking revenge.

The casualties include both soldiers and civilians. As Charlton Doki reports from Juba, officials investigate the incident:
