Dozens reported killed in Lakes State

Lakes State officials say more than 30 people were killed and dozens injured during two separate attacks over the weekend, July 11 and 12.

The state government further says the attacks are part of an almost continuous cycle of revenge and counter revenge attacks among the state’s communities.

According to officials security forces have been deployed in the affected areas to track down and arrest the perpetrators and prevent further attacks.
