Rishan Oshi was born in the late eighties in Omdurman, Sudan. She holds a Bachelor's degree in French from the University of Khartoum. After working with the newspaper Al-Ayyam, she joined the political division of Al-Tayyar newspaper, where worked as an editor. Rishan joined The Niles in 2010. She says that reading and swimming are among her favourite hobbies.
