Khalid Saad

Khalid studied at the University of Khartoum and at Juba University, specialising in journalism and rural development. He has worked as a full-time journalist in different newspapers such as Al-Raya, Al-Watan, and the Qatari newspaper Al-Sharq. Khalid received several courses in journalism most notably with MiCT, which he joined in 2009 through The Niles project, contributing many reports in various fields. Khalid is interested in political history, world and Sudanese music, and old Sudanese tales. He is also an enthusiastic fan of Real Madrid. Khalid says that he studied and practices journalism because he believes that “journalism is heaven's gift to humanity, saving nations from oblivion and apathy.”
