Pagan Amum sworn in as SPLM Secretary General
Pagan Amum was reinstated as Secretary General of South Sudan’s ruling party, the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM), on Tuesday, June 23.

Pagan Amum was sworn in as SPLM Secretary General, on Tuesday, June 23, at 6:00 PM.

Amum was suspended from the same position in July 2013. His reinstatement was witnessed by President Salva Kiir Mayardit and senior members of the SPLM Political Bureau.
