Unity State increases oil production by five percent
South Sudan Minister of Petroleum, Mining and Industry Stephen Dhieu Dau travelled to Unity State on Thursday, September 12, to reopen oil fields, increasing the country’s production.

The reopened fields had been closed since Juba shut down its oil production in January last year amidst political post secession tensions with Sudan.
