Born in the late eighties, Husham started his journalistic career when he was still in high school.
After graduating from university, he joined “Ajrass-Alhurya Newspaper” where he worked as a journalist and photographer in the news section, and in May 2010 was promoted to become the editor of the cultural department.
But when the newspaper was closed by the Sudanese authorities, he started to freelance as a journalist/photographer. He joined the MICT project in Sudan/South Sudan in 2011 where he reported on different social issues, always aiming at peace and reconciliation.
Now Husham works as a media coordinator for “Gis vision” a Consultancy Company in Khartoum.
Husham mentions photography, reading, and playing football as his main hobbies.
