Majok Mon

Majok works as State Correspondent for the New Nation newspaper in Lakes State.

He joined the mict Sudan/South Sudan project team in May 2011.

Majok is currently perusing his degree in journalism and media studies at the University of Juba.

Before he joined the mict team, Majok worked for the Ministry of Information and Communication in Lakes State.

"I love journalism," Majok says about himself, and "I believe informing people about what is happening in our new country is crucial for a democracy to flourish."
