Gour Machop Koij was born in Tandalti, White Nile state. He received Bachelor’s in media press and publication in 2011. He began working with Al-Masir as a journalist in April 2012. He joined The Niles project in Sudan and South Sudan in November 2012. Gour says he has many hobbies including reading, writing, and hiking and running marathons.
