Deng Atem Kuol Atem works as freelance journalist in Juba, South Sudan. He joined The Niles project in June 2012. Atem worked for the Juba Post from 2009 to 2010, as well as for The Hero and The New Times. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Juba, Department of Environmental Science, in Natural Resources and Environmental Studies.
