YIDA - In the past few days more than 600 people from Sudan’s Southern Kordofan State arrived at the Yida Refugee Camp in Unity State. The refugees, mainly women and children, fled from the ongoing fighting in the Nuba Mountains.

Aid agencies are working hard, trying to address the needs of the camp’s growing population, which has now swollen to an estimated number of 23,000 refugees.
